Leaf Spring vs Coil Springs on Asphalt
 

Why are the leaf spring cars so much more dominant on asphalt than the coil spring cars? They just made the leaf spring guys add 100lbs to the total car, but 85lbs of it has to be on the right side. Looking at pre season practice, it looks like that slowed them down a bit... But why are they so dominate when the weight is equal?
