71 z-28 questions for the motorheads
 

gm told me my 71 z-28 was a factory big block car ..ive had so many tell me they lied to me ....gm told me it could be ordered with a 402 in it and 4 speed and thats what my car is and has in it ...but so many tell me they lied to me ...anyone know whats up and if it can be a true big block car

fyi big block ss camaros were also avalible with 396 granted very low production numbers (less then 1k most years) if you havent already see if build sheet is still in/on car may have to drop fuel tank

check the vin but they did come like that should have the 12 bolt to if it 402 4 speed car

Should be an SS though with the BBC, not a Z-28...
