Will 8.1 vortec heads fit on 1988 454?
 

We are looking at heads off a 2003? 8.1... Will they fit on a 454 from 1988? thx MM

no i don't think so because the ports are different and wont line up

ok thank you.. do you know of any stocks heads that will fit that would be better than the 049 or 781 stock heads?

GM 990 heads will fit. GM's performance head
