what labor guide software is your shop using ?

im just a wkend shade tree machanic and charge by how many
cuts i get on my hands, or trade supper for a brake job, he he ha
did not mean to ruin your thread, i have never charged for my
work, last time i helped a friut mans truck, he traded me with
fresh vegtables and friut, good trade, did not mean to waste
your time, good luck bud :wink:

some guys are still using Chilton but All Data has great info to assist in the repair and their parts prices seem to be more accurate.

I have an estimating program that integrates NAPA parts and Mitchell labor. I also use Mitchell On Demand that includes the labor guide. I believe Mitchell and Alldata are real close on the labor guide. If all you are after is a labor guide the NAPA program is the least expensive and it allows me to look up parts, check my local store & DC inventory and save quotes. Saves a lot of time calling the parts store.

80% of what I work on are gm products. (fleet ) I currently have gm tis, but the ford share is increasing. next year when it expires I am most likely going with alldata. looking at mitchells I like it the best but its a software lease. chiltons seems to fit me the best for now, anybody using it ? thoughts?
