How much nitrous
 

I have a 68 c10 with a 454 that has been rebuilt and setup for racing not sure what all is done to it. My question is what shot of nitrous do you guys think would be safe on it not knowing what all is done to the motor. I was thinking maybe about a 100 shot but not real sure. I have never had or used nitrous so any replys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not knowing about the internals etc play it safe and go no higher than 150.


Remember to pull some timing out of it too - rule of thumb is 2-3 degrees retard for every 50 HP worth of squeeze.
