66 nova no power

I have no headlights, ignition, ect.. Battery and starter are good. Is there a wire in the harness that powers the entire car

Have you checked your fuses?? To me it sound slike your main fuse might have blown.

Also what it is sounding like is that you have no power at all??

If so also check to make sure the cables are attached to the battery as well as the car. You might have the ground cable disconnected somewhere.

Probably a fusible link

X2 on a bad ground. I think that is the most over-looked thing when it comes to electrical issues.

check wiring down on the starter?

If it's the stock wiring, I believe that the ign switch, headlamps etc get power from a fuse link coming off the voltage regulator. If not there, at the battery connection on the starter......

I had a '71 blazer that burned up a fusible link, and it killed all electrical power. that's the reason I said that. When I finally found the problem, the fusible link didn't look burned up, but it was. It went from the main harness to, a junctiom block on the fenderwell. But, like others have said above, there could be other causes too.

Also note that your front wiring harness plugs into the fuse block harness, going thru the firewall. Maybe some gremlins there?
