Is it just me...or do any of you guys LOVE to walk in a GOOD junkyard? I mean those good old out in the boonies junkyards with older cars...even if they are rotted to the ground I still like looking at them...One yard around here had a bunch of old stuff like a 59 El Camino in it...it was worthless but still neat to see. Now days there aren't many yards around with cars even from the 80's much less 60's and 70's.Most places don't want you walking around looking anymore...the thieves that poke stuff in their tool box ruined that....

I hear ya Todd, about a mile from my old house there was a very old junkyard, Tri 5 cars everwhere, Olds, Pontiac, etc all 40-50's vintage. Most of them had been sitting there for so long they had trees growing through them, they had sank in the mud so far the floor boards were completely gone and if you even attempted to try and pull them out they would have just fallen in on themselves. But it was so cool just to walk through there, look at the old rides and just wonder what they were like back in the day...

Man you guys should check out South Dakota, It must be the "Mecca" of old car junkyards. West along I-90, seems like every little town, west of Mitchell has an old car junkyard, and a lot are visible, from I-90.

Wow that stuff is in pretty good shape and pretty much intact. So did these guys buy or try to buy any of these cars?

Isn't that the truth Brian!
My first Camaro was a '67 convertible RS/SS, bought it off of a used car lot in Spartanburg SC for $3500 in the early '80s, sold it for $7500 in the late eighties. I laughed all the way to the bank thinking I was sooooooooo smart!!
