Olds 350 power steering bracket shim...
 

Anyone know where the shim for the power steering bracket goes on a 350 Rocket? It fell out when disassembling and do not know where it fell out from. Can't seem to find a diagram anywhere that will answer it, but it came off so it's gotta go back on! Know where the 2 tubular spacers go but this shim is a mystery. Can't seem to get any of it to line up right. Any help is appreciated!

Yes I do, It goes to the lower support on the P.S. bracket that bolts to the block rearward about 4" from the front. The shim is about 7/8" and aligns the pulley for the pump squarely.

Man, idid that about 30 years ago and for some reason I remember that one.

This goes to show you that nothing is unknown when it comes to gear heads.

Actually, NASA contracts rocket building out. We just know how to get man to space and have him survive.
