ok im officailly confused ive been told that posi is the same as limited slip but ive also been told that i have limited slip on my stock 92 chevy 1500

my question is whats true is limited the same as posi? or are they different

POSITRACTION was General Motors "knickname" for their limited slip differentials.

Positraction = Limited Slip
