It is a shame that some sellers will not be honest as to the product they sell. I bought in good faith from Homegrown440 at his price :evil: two dominator carburatrers advertised as "JUST LIKE BRAND NEW" when in fact they were very used and in need of repair. The pictures were very selectively taken not to show true condition. I can not believe one would rip off a fellow Junk member in this way, but I guess the $$ rules.

did you advise him that you weren't happy with the deal :?: what was his response :?: if you can ,post the ad # and let the guys on here try to help.

I tried to resolve with this seller. He continues to stand by his fraudulant way and will not work with as he has the $$ now and is happy as a Lark.

i have learned that if it says "like brand new" i just buy brand
new which does affect selling on RJ or buy only if i can travel
to see it before i buy it, i did buy some brand new manely
valves for a 1/4 of the new price and in a box unopen :wink:

True enough, just that you should be able to take a man for his word, but again, I guess the old $ will turn people like him to sin city......

they don't look like brand new but they do look decieving, thats
like nicely used, sorry you got took, if you can, try and only buy
if you can travel to see the merchandise, i know thats tough, but
i have done it and realy found good deals within tx and its fun to
drive on farm to mkt roads knowing your going to buy hotrod
