1 MORE STEERING ?

ONE MORE ? I REMOVED THE POWER STEERING BOX AND PLUGGED THE HOLES IN THE STEERING BOX FOR NOW,BUT IT IS HARD AS HELL TO TURN TO THE RIGHT, AT THE END OF THE TRACK I HAVE TO DO A 3 POINT TURN TO GET STRAIGHT.IM THINKING I NEED TO REMOVE SOME OF THE POWER STEERING FLUID THAT IS IN THE BOX SO THERE ISNT SO MUCH PSI BETWEEN THE GEARS CAUSING IT TO NOT TURN,WHAT DO YOU THINK.

JMO... Jeff, I think you need a manual steering box.

The ratio on a P/S box is quicker than a manual one so it will take more effort to turn a P/S box without a pump because you have less leverage. You can sometimes get by with what you have done with a light vehicle but it sounds like in your case you will need a manual box.

Loop the holes with a hose together. Don't plug them.

X 2. It will still be hard to turn, but not nearly as hard...
