Gunho. i want to give you some heads up on the cast iron porting thing..
1- if you get this done make dern sure you have the right person doing the port work or it can hurt them, as with any port work to any head. 2- Give it some thought about putting a-lot of money in a cast head..( find the right port guy and have it priced)..i am confident a good port man will not be cheap. 3- Before putting a ton of money in a cast head..go ahead and start you a "HEAD FUND"....and go buy you some off the shelf CNC ported DART PRO-ONE heads.or AFR'S with similarspecs why ?...because these heads are gonna have Bigger valves ( much more HP)...flow much better, lighter.....also if you ever crack one or go as far as blowing a chamber completly out you can have it fixed since its aluminum. i think once you check the price of Quality port work that will amount to anything you could have put a little more to it and went 1st class.. been there done this one before. :D |
Thanks for the input.
