i've been talking with the owner and i might have him down to 8,600, i'm just a little unsure if it's actually worth that.

there is a dent in the rear Lh quarter
glass is in tact, v8 305 running motor, minor rust all around the body
3 spd column shifter
numbers match everything but does not have the original matching motor

i like the car but is 8,600 too much to pay?

In my opinion you can get nicer for that money.

Everybody has their own style of car they like. If thats the car you like and you aren't going to put any money into it and like the way it is than it's probably not to bad of a deal. But if your going to repaint it and change the engine or what ever,its a high price to start with. Because you'll have 20 grand into it before you know it.
