INSTALLING RIM SCREWS
Any tricks i need to know when installing rim screws. Will it mess up the bead on the tires and will it work alright with tubeless tires. Thanks
|
MAKE SURE THE INSIDE SCREWS ARE IN LINE WITH THE OUTSIDE SCREWS.
|
tod is right & they do make a tool to help with spacing.(i just made my own its cheaper)
|
make sure you use 1 of the screws to run in the holes after there drilled to give them some sort of tread in the rim. It will make for an easier job when tire is mounted.

rim screws
What is the formula to figure out the spacing.I was going to put 8 screws on each side. The rim is 15". Thanks

A wheel is a circle, a circle is 360 degrees, 360 dregrees divided by 8 rim screws = 45 degrees apart...
