gear change or trans change
 

i have a 91 s10 with a 406 that i shift out at 6700 it has a 28 inch tire with 4.10 gear and a powerglide. but im thinking of improving my out of the hole . do you guys think i should increase my gear size to 4.56 or 4.88 or just install a 350 turbo . either way im ok with but i thought id hear from you guys first. i do some street driving but i want 1/4 times more. convertor stalls about 4200. thanks for any and all advise.

I agree with Tod74....If you go with the 456 gear it will raise your finish line rpm about 300 rpm,,,,
