shot peen rods after balancing
 

A friend had his rotating assembly balanced and he noticed the bottom of the h beam rods had been ground on .All rods were within .2 grams.We were told by scat that the rods don't need to be re-shot peened.What do you think?What experience have any of you engine builder had with this sitituation?
