moroso vacum pump & msd crank trigger
what is the purpose of having a vacum pump as well where does
a crank trigger work with the timing, building a 496EFI and notice some of the strong motors use the pump and a trigger, should i consider using these and would they benefit, thanks for helping :D |

They do add 15-30 hp according to some dyno figures I have read about. Less windage, more horsepower. A crank trigger all around keeps your timing where it should be. With a proper crank trigger set up I have never seen our timing vary at all. A crank trigger will not increase horsepower, but is a reliable piece to ensure your timing stays where it should be. |

i have seen john cunningham build some strong sbc and each had a vacum pump, i think i will add it to the 496 to keep the motor at its best with a trigger thank again ernest :D |
