Text Scam Alert!
 

Recently posted items for sell, within 2-hours received a text regarding availability, replied yes, another text stating no issues with cost or condition, sending a check USPS, once "cash in hand" then he would send his mover to get the merchandise. Add was cash only so I replied to have his "mover" meet me at my local police department with cash in hand then we could do the deal, spoiler alert.......never heard another word. Number was Little Rock AR based FYI. Be careful out there, racing junk needs to do a better job policing this since there are many posts on this topic.

I get at least 1 a day. I ask for their full name, bank account routing numbers and full address and then I will send them the part. I never hear back but still frustrating.

Yes very frustrating, since post I have received several more, seems to be slowing down now which is a good thing, stay strong we cannot let these idiots ruin a good thing

We just received the same text

Fraudsters are really crossing all the lines. It's good when people understand, but imagine how many innocent people are suffering. I have to work tracking employee timeso that they do not suffer from such calls. When scammers call me or write text , I also try to communicate with them so that they are ashamed.
