Need shaft rocker help!

I just bought a 434 sbc motor with dart pro 1 heads and yella terra rockers. They aren't full shaft rockers just two paired up. I had the heads ported and went from arp bolts to arp head studs and now when reinstalling the rockers the bottom curve of the rocker is rubbing the top of the stud. Anyone have any experience with this or any advice??

Rubbing on top of the ARP head stud correct ? Just trim off the top of the stud.

Same problem here with my T&D's. Just grind a little off for clearance.

Also, Jesel makes a custom low-profile (flat head) torx head bolt that will fit under just about any shaft-rocker mounting bar.

With my ARP studs, the 12-point nuts with flat washers were too tall and wouldn't clear the Jesel shaft mounting bars, so I ended up using the low-profile Jesel bolts (four on each side).

so you can use bolts with the rest studs in that application have the same problem right now. will jesel sell just the bolts.

Yes, that is correct! I would give Jesel a call and I don't see any reason they wouldn't sell their clearance bolts individually. I currently running those bolts along with studs on my SBC stroker.

What if i just pull the studs out where the rockers hit and replace them with reg arp head BOLTS? I changed from the bolts to the studs so i still have them, but would the clamping force be too much different to let them work? Also could i do it without pulling the head and all, just take them out and put bolts in and torque?

why not just take them out and grind the top off them .. it shouldnt take much ? Everyone does it that way and it wont hurt a thing

can i just take those out and then reinstall or do i have to losen all and retorque the whole set?
