850 alcohol quick fuel base settings
 
388 engine changed from 1050 dominator gas to 850 alcohol just want to know some base settings never ran alcohol before on this car thanks car ran 6,20.s on gas what should it do on alcohol thanks

Really the QF is a hard carb to figure out but they seem to like a jet on the smaller side do you know whats in it now? Do you have a elec or belt fuel pump drive setup ?

barry grant 400 jets are 84 squared but was on very mild steel headed big block

84 Squared on a alky carb ? Are you sure, double check them with a drill bit and see because 84 is not at all right.

1/8 drill bit but i had a regulator go down didnt know that alcohol would eat a gas reg. so waiting on jegs right know real world what should i expect out of this change

ok so .125's Yes it will eventually eat the seals up in the BG 400 so maybe buying a set to have with you at the track might be a good idea, they are on rj for 13.00 I think.

If its alky is right 6.0's maybe better if gas is off.

very common when switching alky will eat up the sub-par gas stuff for sure, I think eventually the seals will be gone in the pump, they are known for it.

Are there holes drilled just above the jets? Just wondering if it is a converted carb.

no holes drilled and it has 164 jets in it pics up 15 degrees from burnout to turnout
