Picking the right lobe center

Am looking into a cam change from hyd roller to solid roller. engine is a 8.5 compression 489 bbc. Heads are 781 casting iron heads. Stone stock except larger valves. Intake is a dart with a pro systems dominator carb. Am switching to a weiand intake to try it. Current cam is a Lunati hyd roller with 242/[email protected] and 595.612 lift. 110 lobe sep. Glide with 4200 converter/brake. Best time is a 10.86 at 120. 60 ft at 1.42. Am looking at a cam with 262/270 and 636 lift but with a 114 lobe sep. Would this be a good choice or would the wide lobe sep bleed off to much cyl pressure and hurt the low end enough to change the 60ft times. Am happy with the current times but am always looking for ways to go faster

I realise that this is not what you asked but I feel that an increase in static CR would give you the greatest gain.I don't think that the bigger cam would be better unless there is a traction issue.IMO

No more compression than you have and with the torke converter your running, I would go with a 108 or 110 center line cam. If you get a 110 I would advance it 2 degress to a 108. It will help you off the starting line. I think the 114 will kill your 60ft.
