It appears Ray Evernham and Doug Herbert are going to work together to design and build a land speed car to break the 500 mph record for a piston-driven car. I was just thinking if that thing had a lower gear and we were bracket racing, they would have to let me start at the finish line :oops:

Man, That is still incredible... that is about 375mph faster than my pro-street. That would be a rush... I wonder the distance he will need to produce that speed & get stopped safely. Scooter
