wow, kind of impressive times there for the weight of the car.
looks like your 60s are laging behind the others, some improvemnet there will help at the other end of the track.
what you got for converter??? Were you getting wheelspin???

bbb555 08-31-2007 08:40 AM

Converter is a tci 3,600-3,800 10 inch..Im leaving at 3,200 rpm's. Could be Im spinning but don't know that for sure?Need to find someone that knows what their doing to watch me.

New best again tonight.6.12 in the 1/8th at 112.

A easy way to check for wheel spin is to put a wide white stripe with some shoe polish or dial in on your rear slicks and get someone to watch you as you leave or even better get someone with a camcorder or if you have one yourself get them to focus on the rear tires as you leave then go back and watch it in slow mo, it should be very visible then.

I did get another racer to watch me and he said I did spin.He said it kicked the rear of the car a little toward the pass side.I never felt it inside the car but now how to fix the problem?

bbb555 09-06-2007 03:44 AM

Another new best..6.12 in the 1/8 at 112.mph..

thats really fast for that setup-- how much juice ???

woodsman 09-28-2007 06:24 PM

JMO but I think from what I can figure is you are going to see some high 5.80's or low 90's. Good going and be careful in that hotrod.
