Anyone else have this problem?

Does your other half ask why you spend so much time working on your race car this time of year? Do they just think you just check the oil and put gas in them or what? It seems like I go through it every year.

Ya know Beast...I have a really amazing wife. Last year I lost a motor at an IHRA Pro-Am. When I realized I had motor issues and told her about it the first thing she started doing was naming off things we had planned on doing later in the year to be put aside so we could fix my motor. She gets involved as much as possible even though she doesn't quite understand everything yet. But she does understand how much work can go into a race car. I can't ask for anything better.

Yeah, I probably shouldn't b*tch too loud she does get into it when things get started. She plans all our meals (pit crew included thats five more) for the season. Plus more that I probably don't realize. Sometimes she just doesn't understand what it takes to keep the car going as far as maintainance.
Maybe I just needed to vent. It's been a little tense around here lately.
Sorry :( .

Beast its been a long nasty winter up here, cabin fever sucks!

I am lucky also, my wife is all over what ever I am working on. She asks to help, want to know how things work and isnt afraid to get dirty. This has been going on for 25+ years! Who doesnt like a "dirty girl" :?: :D

That is probably a good thing pal

Hey Beast, It sounds like your wife still likes to spend time with you and feels like she is competing with the car for time...........???
My wife wants to know when I am heading to the shop and sometimes asks why I am in the house and not in the shop. I guess I am not sure how to interpret this difference of house hold naggings but if I were to bet in the safe side, I would say that she still likes you around. Mine, sometimes maybe not so much. Just an observation at my house
