I have a ford ranger( Iknow,I know) the alt has 2 plugs-When you hook up the Amp meter wire it kills the engine-It acts like you just turned the key off, The cluster & Alt has been changed but the problem still exists??Any ideas??As far as I can tell the wire goes from the Alt to the Amp gage & from there to the ign..
