Gas=No Strips,Lots of Clearence.
Alcohol=Strips usually Blacks and Whites,Tight Clearence.

Gas Makes ALOT of Heat,so with if you had a Tight Blower on Gas?
You would Get ALOT of HOT Air!

An alky blower will be hard anodized for protection against corrosion.
