line lock on rear disc brake's

i put a line lock on my altered, rear brake's only to help staging the car, made a pass and the brake's drag.the car has a residual pressure valve behind the master cylinder.i put the line lock behind the pressure valve,is this the wrong way to hook it up?

I think I would put it on the front brakes to avoid any lag on the rears when launching.

It's common for altereds, to not have front brakes.

i have a pro transbrake, but sometimes the car roll's just a little, maybe i should just adjust the band, just thinking a linelock might help me have better lights...

Mine seems to move a little in the lights also but I'm not sure if it really does. It could just be me. I'm new to the transbrake/delay box racing.
The line lock sounds like a good idea.

We have hooked up a line lock on the back brakes of our dragster for the very reason stated by Jim383 to tighten up the reaction times, which it did. Takes one more variable out of it.
