sniper for conventional heads. How is it with just a port match over the edelbrock and dart?

I think so, just depends on the size of the motor for the sniper. A few other I have talked to switched from a super victor to the sniper jr on there 540's and gain 15-25hp both port matched.

I have 3 intakes, sniper, 454 R Eldebrock and a Super Victor. I went with the Sniper and have yet to try any of the others on my now.

i checked into getting a sniper before i purchased my 454r.....i was told that the sniper would have been a better suit for the larger CI motor 555+
i happened to have a 511ci so i chose the 454r..

what size motor you have ?
