What The Heck is Trade Value?

I am really trying to understand what these people mean by "Trade Value is Higher".

Everything has a dollar value period! If you are trading someone for something, the value doesn't just automatically go up because you are trading.

I agree there is one on RJ that sell's and trade's race cars i have tried and tried to deal with him his last ad he is selling a car for $18,000 but he said trade value is $22,000, sounds like he is saying mine is better than yours, RJ should not let people do this :!: :!: :? :? See ad#1639340 :!:

Sounds like they are wanting something worth more than there's if they trade kinda stupid in a way if yours is worth 22 and there's is worth 18 why would you trade.

I see there point and many times i feel the same way. If im not getting cash, i would like to get something worth more than the cash value, since your trading for something you cant sell it for its value.

Trade Value?

Heres the Way i see it?
If they have Something that you can use or Want? What difference does the Value make..........?
If its Not something that fits,?Move On!

I think it also sounds a little desperate when they have to have cash to boot... no matter what, trade value is higher... even if it is an even trade or buyers car is worth more??? It makes a seller look desperate & like they are in financial trouble. I say "never let them see you sweat" ... why act like you need the money so bad??? Otherwise, don't trade the car if seller is too broke. Either it sounds desperate, or it sounds arrogant... one of the two. JMO

Well to sum it up, My car run's just as fast as his does, looking for something different, so when he raised trade price on me i just left it alone, His car should run in the 5's being that light and a large engine, but oh well :!: :!:

my opinion still stands ---if you say trade value is higher then you are being arrogant and think your item is more important then any body elses
i will just walk away and let them rot

IF I WANT 15,000 DOLLARS FOR MY CAMARO BUT ASK 18,000 TRADE VALUE-THEN WHAT I AM SAYING IS I REALLY WANT 18,000 DOLLARS FOR IT--AND YOU [THE SMALL ,LITTLE ,PATHETIC BUYER] SHOULD ' BEG' ME FOR A BETTER DEAL-- RIGHT :? :? :? -GO GET???./,./.././.---I DON'T NEED THE DEAL AND WILL BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE :o :o :o

no because you usually can not get what u should for something so you sell it for less.... i know i have sold things that were worth 30,000 for 15,000 just because i wanted them gone. Not because i needed the money. But if someone wanted to trade me a 30,000 motorcycle, im not going to give them my item and 15,000 more cash!!! But if they want to buy it out right 15k cash!

This is just my theory
