EARTHQUAKE!!!!

I was woke up this morning by a noise that I thought was the blinds on the window blowing in the wind. Got up, closed the window, realized it was the TV rattling on top of the dresser. I felt the dresser and you could feel it shaking like the washer was running unbalanced.
I told the wife that I thought it was an earthquake, or the fat girl next door fell out of bed. No damage here that I know of but they do have reports around us.

I guess was an earthquake...I was at work. Some others felt it and there was a tv on in break room and it came on news( so the others told me)

I've lived in Southern California all 43 years of my life and I remember EVERY DAMN ONE like it was yesterday, including the 1971 Sylmar quake. Those things screw with my head.

Where did you live at that time ? I was in the S.F.V. and remember it and many others very well.

I felt the one this morning, it woke me and my wife up, but we both just brushed it off and went back to sleep.

Earthquake

Well it wasn't as bad as the coal mine next door! Kinda funny about that
they say that our area is conducive to ground vibrations but yet the
mine has totaled my house and they said it was ground water! (I am on a
hill!?!) Go figure! At least with the quake our stuff stayed on the shelves
and no glass broke. Imagine living with worse than that once at 10 AM
and again at 4 PM. Fun!

I was awake when it happened but I never felt anything in this part of Arkansas. I am in the Bryant area.
I am glad I didn't shake it out!
