i have 9'' ford large pinion bbc pro street 456 gears want to change gears to much for street use what size to use for the street 540 pump gaS WITH NOS I MAY TAKE IT TO THE TRACK, TIRE SIZE 33X21.5X15 MT,

we take the car to car shows i say 30 to 50 miles maybe more

call up the gear companys and tell them what you want to do what rpm you want to turn they can help you figure it out

you didn;t say which trans and car type 8)
but--with an automatic 3;73 or 3;91 would be a good combo----with a clutch 3;23 or 3;50 would work good

go to high and your engine combo will SUFFER TERRIBLY :oops:

a 4.10 would be the GEAR for ME!
a 33 Tall rear Tire has a Major Factor,that ALOT of Guys DONT Understand?

Tall tires = tall gearing. The land speed racing guys bolt on the tallest tire they can turn.
