What type of battery for a stacker trailer?
 

I need to replace the battery on my Pace stacker trailer. It has a 4,000 pound Stinger lift in it. What type of battery should i use? A charging battery that usually has higher CCA rating or is it better to use a deep cycle?

I have the standard free 'deep cycle' battery from the dealer and it's not a good one. I've already damaged it by letting it go to 0% so it works but the runtime is garbage. I plan on upgrading it to an AGM battery, a pair of Trojan Golf Cart batteries or building my own using CALB cells and a decent BMS. I mostly go to full hookups so my battery is the last item on my list to upgrade.
