Racingjunk Forums - update: nonprofit drag race program for foster teens

We just had a 78 monte carlo donated. It is set up for drag racing. has 4 link, 12 bolt w/spool and most everything else except a motor, converter and a good set of slicks. Oh and It needs a carb and distributor. We are in the first stages of putting together a web page for this program. I was going to take the kids to the strip and race my pickup (the one on my profile) last weekend, but it rained. Look at my profile and it will give some idea what we would like to do. I understand most of you are afraid of a scam, but I am working hard to get this program documented. I am looking for sbc parts so the kids and I can get monte carlo to the track. I will let everyone know when the web site is up and running. If you are able to donate any motor parts, slicks or even financial help, it is all tax deductable and we could really use the help.
