which comp cam is best?

I am about to re-build my 289 2 barrel with a 4 barrel and have narrowed the cam down to the comp cam xe262h or xe268h and am trying to get some feed back on the performance. I have a c4 and will change my converter to a 2000 stall and have a 3.4 posi rear end. i am not sure what the current compression is but feel it is stock as the engine was re-built to .030. I would like to hear from someone who has either of these cams.

When I was about 22 I had a 63 falcon futura that had a 64 fairlane 289 2 barrel and C4 in it when I bought it, I freshened up the motor, slapped a performer intake and Holley 600 double pumper carb and a HI Energy 268 cam, oh boy talk about waking a sleeping giant up. That car was scary fast. It had 323 gears and would not spin a tire, I ran off and left most everybody at the light, if I remember correctly it ran low 13's in the 1/4 with no other mods and a old point type dist.

Just make sure to upgrade to the stiffer valve springs though.
