engines use fuel, and motors use electricity

That's what my shop teacher told me in highschool (1974) I assume it hasn't changed.

yep that's correct engines are gas or other fuel motors are electric still the same.

Motor or engine......well I always thought I was part engine, at least my grandpa was full blooded Cherokee....does that mean I am also part Jeep?
