Rear main leak....need help
 

I am looking for something I was told about but do not know what it is called. The person that told me forgot. This is a sticky black pad that goes on the bottom of an oil/trans pan and soaks up drips/leaks. Does anyone know about this and what it's called? Thanks for the help.

It is called a Diaper. Not sticky on one side though? An engine diaper is retained by straps on the header bolts on the engine usually. The trans uses a ballistic blanket, a little different than a diaper, but similar in oil retention.

I know about the diaper. That's not it. Thanks for the reply though. This is a pad that goes on the bottom.
