2 master cylinders
i have an old former funny car that has only a hand brake. that is on the right side of chassis. i would like to keep it there for the nostalgia look, but would like to have a foot brake also to keep both hands on wheel on the track. can you run 2 masters cylinders to the same rear brake system?any help thanks john

I do not think that is possible. With a T, the one cylinder would force fluid back in the the other cylinder. If you used check valves, the brakes would not release after you activated either cylinder.
I would go with a two caliper disc systems. Then you could use one or the other or both! Dave |
If you just want the hand brake in there for looks, leave it in and don't plumb it in. Plumb in the foot brake only. JMO

Or tie the 2 into each other so that when you use one the other moves with it. :D

Id unhook the handbrake and just use the pedal
or buy a dual caliper setup :D |
