You have to laugh on one hand; while cringe on the other. What a mess. I wonder why he was motivated to start it while hanging on a chain, No exhaust manifolds??? WTF!!! love the flaming gas can too.... man that could have gone so much worse even!!

On top of that- why would you film such a debacle for everyone else to see?? He earned dumbazz of the day.

That was funny.....I like the blowing on it....one thing I learned a long time ago: Never start one on jacks or in a state that it cannot be rolled out of the shop in an emergency. When I was a kid a friend of my Dad was working on a dirt car on jacks and it caught fire and burnt the shop down.

The first thing that is wrong is he has no common sense!! Then it goes downhill from there. I really like when he puts water right down the carb to put the fire out. That has got to be really good for the engine!!!

Amen!!! LOL!! Garden-hose w/ sprayer right down the suck-hole!!!!!

I have never seen a motor run w/ no exhaust manifolds either.... that is a fire breathing mess all in itself...

I don't even think LittleRod would do that. Was that a Vette motor???

One way to cleanse the gene pool.
Everything done wrong as posters have mentioned.
I keep my welding jacket handy (eliminate the oxygen).
Water? I don't thing so - gas floats on water...
