I have messaged the seller.lets see if he shows up.

Do you have any pictures or proof of your claims against this seller?Just wondering if you had any thing to back up your claims.

If so post up so we all can see.

I took pictures when I took the engine apart...he's not going to do anything...I threatened to sue in small claims court and he told me to stick it.The Lawyer says I could win a judgement but they're worthless.I want him to take the POS back and replace my cash $2800.00 - $300.00 that he sent me because he knew he screwed me....bad.

Looks like 4" bore & stock pistons to me.

lively 04-30-2008 08:05 PM

let us get this straight---he was asking 3750.00---you bought it for 2800.00--then he gave you back 300.00 more after you complained[why did he give you any money back?]--did you pull the crank also?--was everything else on the truck right as described? did you look at the truck before you bought it? did you drive the truck before you bought it? what made you decide to tear the engine down?[smoking/ rattles/or just suspicious!!!]---not being mean just getting all the facts so if he comes here he can present his side also 8) 8)

I told him when I get it home it would be comming apart just to make sure it was what he said it was.I called him and told him the engine was nothing he had advertised it to be....it even has the stock GM bearings in it with a cast crank and stock GM pistons which can be seen in the pics. The engine did have the World heads on it.
I didnt drive it,it was too late..neighbors and all...but it was driven up on the trailer.
The ad said it had a Coan converter...not so...its an old TCI piece and no Coan trans either.
Maybe I'll file with Judge Judy and see what that brings!

olds48 05-01-2008 03:53 PM

Motor definitely appears to be a 4" bore, and the 4 valve relief pistons are not very racy. But it does appear to be a clean looking block inside :?:

jgang350 05-01-2008 04:32 PM

The engine wasnt too bad inside, but that dont give the right to advertise it as .060 over plus steel crank and Coan converter & trans. It dont have none of that stuff.
Well he's not gonna do anything...he's got the $$$ and I got the weinie.
