In conjunction with a blower, what is a snow plate? Thanks.

This is a WAG, but I think it keeps "stuff" out of your blower belt, kinda like a skidplate for your lower pulley.

thats a new one! i WOULD think someone with lil knowledge would be calling a nitrous plate a snow plate? maybe?
