Ballancing

If I have my rods resized (they are anywhere from .001 to .0015 out of round), will I need to get them reballanced if they were previously ballanced? Question # 2: How close are the Ross Pistons from the factory to being ballanced for an engine that will be turning 7200. (circle track) I ask this question because of the cost of the pistons being expensive.

reconing your rods will not change balance enough to worry about. changing pistons is a different story unless they weigh the same as you'r old pistons

If you are looking for a specific weight call Ross pistons and give them the weight, and what # cylinder of your piston, they will set you up with what you need. If you need help feel free to give us a call, we carry Ross Racing Pistons. The resizing of the rods isn't very critical, unless they switched rod bolts.
