Got to see a autocross today
I saw my first auto cross today at the good guys show in Nashville that looks really fun!!! Saw some really nice cars several big Chevys with W motors and some hemi cars in the show n shine.

My 1st event for '13 is next weekend, an Auto Cross. Will be running 'the ANIMAL'. Then June 8-9 we race our first pavement hill climb of '13.
AutoX is fun but low speed and technical. Pavement hill climbs are 2 mile road racing events with much higher speeds, hard right/left turns, AGGRESSIVE whoa and go ! |
I second what DD said. I did one autocross in a clapped out 944 & got a DNF on my last run for loosing it half way & sending pylons all over the place!! They didn't like me... they told me "your done" & send me packing. It was in a huge mall parking lot here in Eugene.
