Battery cutoff switch

I want to run a duel 12/16 volt battery, and run the starter and MSD on 16V's and the rest of the car off of the 12V lug. Is anyone making a single throw, double pole disconnect to shut off two positive battery cables? Sean

I think the 16 volt battery is over rated with the new dry cell batterys that are out now.......

I do think they make a 16 volt battery with a 12 lug on it....Kind of 2 batterys in one

Personally, I'd either go 12v or 16v. Not both. A buddy of mine had a 12/16v battery in his car and had 2 cutoffs at the back. He finally got a straight 16. It's much simpler.....

You can check out Cole Hearse. They make cut off switches in several confirurations.

I have not seen anyone run the dual 12/16 volt program. I know that in a blown deal we ran 12/24 volts with 2 12 volt batteries and thought it worked very well...The only item that ran on 24 volts was the starter. Everything else ran on 12 volt. Spun the motor over hard. Hot/cold never missed a beat. it was a 532. 11-1.. 1471 30% over
