thanks guys, at the moment im just staying with the 4" stroke and 6.385 rods with 049 heads and 10.5 comp with a hyd. roller cam. not sure on what lift and duration yet. but im going with a build up that Ed told me about. 750 vac carb ect. but i want to go a little bigger and with 4340 parts in about 1 year. the block is a 2 bolt with stock 4 bolt caps but im having splayed caps installed and the heads are getting bigger valves and seats plus a mild port job, bowls blended. i decided to sell the small blocks and go to the big rats :D my future plans if i dont ruin the block :lol: is a set of AFR 305 heads and 4.25 stroke with about 10.1 comp. in my 83 c10 thats down to a bare frame at the moment, i bought a good cab and only need box sides then off to the body shop. i cant wait :) p.s. i had 4 engine stands but down to 3 now(lol) the 422 is on RJ for sale 964000. thanks Cal

Usually the only guy's I know with two engine stands are the Ford boy's. One in and one being rebuilt! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

i have 9 engine stands :shock: ...but i build a few engines too....lol...so i guess i haveit REAL bad eh?...lol
