chevy 350
wondering if i would be possible to put a sb chevy 350 carb. into a 99 camaro? any help/feed back would be greatly appreciated
thnx |
Yes you can put whatever in anything...particuarly what your wanting to do.
Outside of by-passing all the computer stuff,,you will run into issues with having enough room against your Firwall....most guys who do what you want will cut the firwall and box it at the location of the distributer. i am friends with Bruce at hawks 3rd generation camaro and they have to drop the enigines from the bottom on the 4th /5th generation camaro's i would suggest calling him with these type of questions... here is hisa link...they know their stuff on these 3rd/4th/5th generation camaro's. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ |
I would only do that if it had a v-6. If it had a LS, I wouldn't do that.

my camaro has a v-6. if i were to put a carb. 350/383 stroker in it how hard would it b to take out all of the elctronics?
|
Don't know that one. Just remember that all the dash stuff,ei tach (v6 tach needs calibrated to run a v8), speedo, etc is electrical.
