My old moter had 13 to 1 compression. I ran 110 in it. I used to spray 150 to 175 NOS running 110 octane and never had detonating problems. Running NA or spray. That moter still lives, I sold it and went bigger.

My little small block is almost 14.1 and i run 112 in it with no problems :!: :!:
''JUST MY TWO CENT'S WORTH'' |
13-1 in my BBC, 110 works fine.

Unless you plan on going way up in the atmosphere with RPM 110 will be fine. Leave the "Octane Booster" on the shelf.

13.5 110 No problems

Why would you even want to use "octane Booster" ? It only boosts octane 4 points at best. From say 93 to 93.4, and thats as advertised. Ill bet its even less with higher octane.
Now if you were a body shop guy and had access to 55 gallon drums of Xylene or Touline that might be a differant story. Craig |
