PCV Question

Does anyone use anything like this?:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I currently have an inline filter (air/oil seperator) in my pcv system but I was thinking of eliminating it all together for a system like this. I've been told it can free up some more power. Is there any negative impact on this type of setup or is the "drag race use only" disclaimer for emissions?

Thanks,

Josh

It is a race only part as it relies on unrestricted exhaust flow to work. I'm pretty sure that mufflers will cause enough backpressure to prevent them from working....

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I've seen em on race cars but never on cars that see any street time. I have 3" exhaust into a 1 chamber Flomaster turned down under the rear right seat. It sounds like these are more for higher rpm open header setups.

Thanks,
