I heard a wildfire in the Wenatchee area had a lot of people evacuated.

Yes had to smell some smoke, the fire was in wenatchee on the west side of the river, at the north of town up on the hill, when your leaving wenatchee going towards seattle, that hill, or mountain to the right thats were she was. I was abought 7-8 miles away at least, I am on the east side of the river, all good here carl. It is fire season, I live right in the middle of town, I'm safe 8)

Spib lives in EAST Wenachee. A wildfire is not allowed to burn there without the proper permits in place.

you sound like a man that has been there and got in some trouble or something, was it at apple blossom time?

Wasn't Apple Blossom (but that USED to be fun), just screwin' around with a 428 powered '66 Fairlane I had many moons ago. Was 'invited' by EWPD to get back across the river. Actually escorted would probably be more accurate.

But that was a foolish, evil Murff and I had to do him in to make room for the more sedate Murff of today. :wink:
