Dart Iron 345

I'm not sure why but I just bought a set of used Dart Iron Eagle 345 heads with 2.25 valves,I guess they were a good price.
They are not ported but have had some bowl blending. Is there anyway at home I can measure what cc the combustion chamber is? And what are these thing suppose to flow, int and ex. stock?

If you can get your hands on a beret, or any cc measuring device, you can drill a 1/4" hole in a plexaglass plate, with the valves installed lay a thin layer of grease around the combustion chamber and fill up the combustion chamber, keeping track of the cc's poured into the chamber. No way to measure the flow except on a machine.

Zip.

Thanks Zip! I mentioned that to the wife and she said that she has an old syringe from one of the kids medication bottles kicking around so I'll try that.

You can get a cheapo cc kit from Jegs for a little of nothing...works just fine.Comes with a Plastic buret and a piece of plexiglass. I use green alcohol cause it's easy to see and clean up...but with iron heads the alcohol may cause it to rust pretty quick

JEGS has a cheapo BY COMP CAMS that works just fine...4O bucks

But really all you need to find is a cheap buret and a piece of lexan/plexiglass bigger than your chamber.
