I have talked to him. Seems fine. Have his phone number and email address.

Wants me to send money thru Walmart money order. No way to track that transition after sending money.

Screw that Walmart shit, certified check cashed at your bank or cash in hand

Summit has several 1050 cfm holleys: 1 Dominator @$837.95, another Dominator @
$868.95, and a Ultra Dominator @ $1,246.95. If one of these fit the category of
the one he has for sell @ $400.00 and is new out of the box, look out. It could
be a scam, it could be hot, or it was given to him and he has no money in it.
As I am sure you know, any Holley of that category is not that cheap. Be careful.

I have received money thru the Walmart to Walmart money transfer before and it is convenient as the seller can have the money in 15 minutes after the buyer sends it. Then the seller can ship out the part same day and buyer can have it next day if they pay for that kind of shipping. It has helped me make a few sales when someone wanted a carb I had for a weekend races.

But I am leary of sending money, because you don't know if the person on the other end is really who they say they are and if the address they give as their home really is. They say never send money to a Post Office box or thru Western Union and this is like that. It could be a scam. The guy took down the ad at my request until we get it settle it. He sent me a picture of his Illinois ID card with his name and address on it. I agree the price seems too good to be true. But I have got other deals like this that were true.

There are plenty of guys on here that live in that area, see if he will let someone come by and inspect the carb?
